We are proud to be a club that gives back to the local community that supports us and helps make our success possible.

Every holiday season, we host our annual Xmas Sweater Bowling night, where each participant brings a children’s toy as part of the entry fee. The club donates these gifts to Ronald McDonald House, which distributes them to local children’s hospitals.

Over the years, several of our players have even shaved their hair and eyebrows to support the St Baldrick’s Foundation and its important work in childhood cancer research.

Recently, players from the club joined in with Misericordia efforts, dressed as clowns, giving out balloons to children at one of their charity events.

Our club calendar is filled with exciting social events for players and supporters alike. One of our most anticipated traditions is the themed pub crawl held at the close of each Spring and Fall Season.

Every season brings a new lineup of local bars across Chicago’s north side, along with costumes that never fail to impress. Recent themes have included clowns, Disney characters, cats, among several others.

During the holidays, we gather for our annual Christmas Sweater charity night. This festive event also supports children in need, with past recipients being the Ronald MacDonald House for children spending Christmas in hospital and local Chicago Park District initiatives for summer programs in underserved neighbourhoods. 

Past activities have included golf outings and memorable trips to Soldier Field for international rugby matches, giving our community even more ways to connect beyond the pitch.

At the start of each year we celebrate the achievements of the past season with our Annual Awards Banquet.

This is a chance for all our players to scrub up and recognize their peers.

We have several awards. Four are voted on by the players and are named after the club’s founder Jerry Fohrman.

As with our other social events, this event is open to friends, family and supporters of the club as well as players.
