After many weeks of preparation including the formulation of our Return To Play (RTP) Plan, we are pleased to announce that we will resume training activities this week, Tuesday 29 September.

Training will continue each Tuesday and Thursday starting at 6:30pm at the Waveland softball fields just south of the golfcourse entrance and close to the tennis courts.

Practice Plan

Unless all the above requirements have been met, you will be sent home from practice. Upon arrival, please report to the Compliance Officer who will take and record your temperature. If your temperature is above 99.5 degrees, you will be asked to return home and isolate.

  1. A list of prohibited activities as defined by the State of IL includes scrums, lineouts, mauls, rucks, tackles, touch rugby and other physical contact
  2. Allowable activities include fitness, skills and flag rugby (provided there is zero physical contact between players)
This season of training is voluntary.  Many of us have families, significant others, or work in healthcare and we don’t know what people are dealing with.  If you are not comfortable training, stay home.  Attendance this fall is essentially a wash.  If you aren’t able to make it to training it will not be held against you.  The club is happy to talk to you individually remotely if you can’t make training.
